One for the collective
Anybody repacked their Exhaust can and if so which packing did you use There are some on fleabay where you get an amazing free gift but looks a bit like bookface click bait Then there is this Acousta-Fil® ZT1 Exhaust Silencer PackingAny thoughts ?

Following. My exhausts are currently stripped ready for a re-pack.
What makes a good packing? |

Something that won't blow out in 5 mins. Loose packing will just burn up with the big pulses from a twin so decent quality blanket or accoustafil is the way to go.

I’ve been buying from PJ Engineering but thought I’d see what others have been using
Hence the question |

hi all,
sorry to resurrect an old thread, but my akra can has started to burn off the ally sticker, and i'm thinking that it needs repacking? ive seen the acoustafil stuff, and im ready to pull the trigger on it, but i have absolutely no idea how much of the stuff i would need, or how full to fill the can? any advice would be most welcome! Last time I looked there was a volume calculator on their site. You fill in your can dimensions and it tells you how much you need.
