Not unless your Gen1 has radial forks/brakes or you machine 5mm off the front disc mounts.

Yes it will fit but i think there is a some sprocket alignment issues as it's slightly wider than the original wheel. But your only talking 1mm or so. 

If you have an offset sprocket like the oem one, you can dial that out by reversing it so the offset is in and not out.
