picked the old girl up last weekend for a steal.
fsh with both keys, service book, owners manual and tons of reciepts for servicing.

only just got started on her,
gross rim tap removed (what a job that was with the glue left behind ffs)
girly shopping rack removed from rear,
all polished bits properly polished now.
chain and sprockets cleaned and re lubed,

running stage 3 dynojet, but i want a different exhaust, carbon can co one is too quiet for me lol.
very well cared for,not a bit of rust anywere,no engine paint flaking off ect,
very good for a naked 17yr old bike.
great fun to ride and make progress on even though its no superbike.
that front wheel likes to get airborne!
pulls realy well too.

not to alot of folks tastes, specialy on sportsbike forums but these bikes realy suit me these days,
and if it means i get back on 2 wheels, all the better cos i was suicidal being bikeless.

the candy red looks ace in the sun too.

my last one

That's tidy and 2 wheels so it's all good, didn't they have a single headlight originally?

Awesome bikes I have has about 7 of them stopped with the 2005 centenary. Think they changed quite a bit then to the 1250 type.
Went all over France and Spain without a hitch.
Tell a lie Obe day one didn't want to start remove cap from overflow tube squeeze replace starts perfectly.

realy are entertaining bikes in many ways.
something id overlook before, due to not being glamorous ect.

that gsxr1100 engine is something else!
i ride it far more often than i did sports bike due to it being much less of a drama to get and ride!

White & orange & I'm  loving it. Feels very much like an updated comfortable Gen2. Odd thing is when I bought the Tuono I tried a RC8r at the same time but then it was too similar to my Gen2 to be worth the change!

Stupid thing is the Tuono is a better bike for almost every situation! I do love a v twin sports bike that spits flames on the over run though. jCE exhaust is effing loud.
