How much fun do you get in comparison to road riding mate.

It offers a lot of perks to your road riding that you wouldn’t normally get.

It is really good fun. But nowhere near as much fun as caning the Mille or going over a ton. That’s on another level.

It’s also really hard work. Very tiring. Like breathing out of your arse tiring 🙂

One good thing with the ktm is I can take it out when it’s raining. The Millie never goes out in the rain if I can help it now. So even if the weather is bad I can still ride. The ktm was well worth buying for me and I ride it all year round.

It’s a second hand 16 plate ktm EXC300. I stuck a red power valve spring in there. It’s a right handful.

There are a few of us that have them near me. We get together and rip up the woods. The ktm is the best. It does everything but it is more competition oriented. Lots of different models. I went for the 2 stroke 300. I love it. It really is pokey. It wheelies in every gear on the road. It’s an animal with the red power valve spring in there.

If you are thinking of getting one. Get one. You won’t regret it. It really is a good laugh

If you live near Dorset it fits on the back of the car. I could bring it down to you and you can have a blast on it if you like

You do buddy!

I grew up with dirt bikes and crossers, so much fun and helps more than you'd think with road riding.

My body's too knackered as most of you know, but I'd have one like a shot, for green laning and keeping my hand in over winter, if I was able to.
Question everything.

Absolutely loved the enduro and off roading scene, only downside was cost.

Have you entered any hare & hounds events?

Being in South Wales we had the beauty of the mountains (just had to avoid the grumpy walkers) ha ha.

Here are a few pics of me and the ktm, I was a 350 4t kinda guy.

Sometimes it didn't always go to plan.

Brilliant fun though!!

Wales is lovely. Nice bike. Ouch.

Done a few track and trail friendly events. Haven’t done a hare and hounds yet. I’m not quite fit enough or brave enough but I am getting there. Need more more practice and a lot more fitness.
