Well, I've been looking and found this one languishing in the outdoors....
It only cost £940 BUT and it is a BIG but, it's a real pig, literally every nut, bolt n screw has rust, left foot peg mount has seized, rear mudguard bolts have seized, one bolt holding front mudguard on has seized, left side rear pillion peg mount bolts seized, copious amounts of dirt, crud and sh*t have been left on vital parts... Engine casings, oil tank and associated parts have surface mould, radiators have been involved in a melting plastic session, rear shock, front forks and front brake calipers are compromised and scrap at best, bike came with no rear caliper or chain, all bodywork and fuel tank are scrap and mounting points have snapped... Wheels are corroded and all discs have severe rust, loom has been damaged significantly with the addition of a sh*t old datatool alarm and it's taken me 3 hours just to get the bodywork off... However... The lads at AP have got the engine running and changed the fluids so I know the engine is at least savagable!! Well, do you think it's a bit ropey or what lol... Pictures will follow shortly as soon as photobucket sorts itself out lol NickyBoy |

The goal for this bike, which is a DAMN LONG way off is to build a 99 Peter Goddard replica...

Yeah it's Peter Goddards number 9 bike, gloss black with RSV down the side, it's a real simple design and "should" be easy to replicate

jeso it seem like a bit of a dog to start with but seeing your currrent bike and the co diction this is going to be a lovely looking bike when done
And yeah seems like loads of room even with the bench, why not store your current sexy beast on the bench over winter. I'm sure that bench will come into its own when putting the new addition back together |

Don't sell the bench nickyboy you will really regret it. You have dodgy wrists as it is so you don't want matching knees.

The only reason it "looks" like I've got enough room is because all the toot is behind the camera so it doesn't look like I have a dirty or cluttered workshop Hahaha!

Interesting. Are you keeping all early gen 1 bodywork or are you going for the later shape on this. I see some nice tricolour parts in the background. Any of them orange bits in excellent condition.

RedRat - mines almost exactly the same but I just hide it whenever I take a pic lol, your place is like an Aladins Cave.!
Throbbing - Well, the top rear cowl is in fairly good nick, couple of scratches but nothing that I would call "major" the coil covers are ok as are one of the side air pods, the rear fairing is fooked though, cracked and broken!! Diablo - Yeah I'll keep you updated mate, this is a long term project and is probably gonna be done over small bits on weekends as time is more valuable than me money at the mo lol NickyBoy |

Best thing about it though is that it's for the track so on one hand it doesn't have to be A1 looking every where, and the lights etc won't be a problem to fix up should they need it.
As long as it's clean and funtioning proper it's good. Provide hours of meditation that pal. Great. |

I used to be uncertain , but now i'm not sure anymore
