He's talking about the Rsv4 Mark which has a dedicated race ecu available
To the op, yes it does reduce engine braking, how much depends on the selected mode. R mode has the least. Of the other modes, there is a softer low grip mode and direct throttle mode (very abrupt)

Just wondered what the difference is when a race ecu is fitted, I have read that it reduces engine braking, just wanted to know what else is effected from people that already have it fitted. Both the positive and negative please.
