Just spotted this on ebay, anyone know anything about it? Can't see a filter - under the mesh? And still has a home made seal to the tank.

its part of the aprilia race kit that was basically gen1 57's and carbon airbox and eprom.
was 2500 new + vat..the heads were a seperate package
this is the colin edwards carbon airbox that very few people have seen or have fitted to there edwards reps,it does away with the inlet boot
by the way that airbox has now sold! ()

That sold quick!
Thanks for info Red, I wasn't about to buy it but very interesting nonetheless. So the Edwards don't have them standard, only if you bought the race kit? |

the edwards offically were supplied with the big can and the race kit in a box which was
akrapovic system with carbon hangers ,eprom, smaller front sprocket ( i think the carbon airbox was an optional extra but some countries had it fitted?)
so if you were buying a colin edwards rep you would have had the race kit fitted by the dealer and kept all the standard parts ( well i would have done!)

What's the story with the Arrow system? Any good? Doesn't look like it is really any different to stock apart from the way it slips together. Can's been cut down too by the look of it, no? |

Well...trigger pulled. The can worries me a little as it looks to have been cut down a hell of a lot but we'll see when it arrives. Can always resleeve it.
Nice little treasure trove unearthed there Legend. The bloke should be paying you commission today.

Yep, that system is very good for power and looks and sounds the nuts! One of the rare 2-1 systems, not many left around now... NickyBoy |
