Bargain basement carrera kraken, suits my off roaring ability well. Tend to just ride the wrekin trails locally, good variety of terrain. Also got an old carrera virtuoso but it hasn't been out this year. Also got a hand built pedal powered chop, which is funny as hell to ride. Anything with 2 wheels is cool with me.
Life aint about the destination, life's about the journey. That's why we ride!

Orange E4 Hardtail - Very very rare (believed to be one off) Electric Metallic Blue from the Factory, Mavic Crosslands, full XTR, Syncross handle bar stem and seat post, Carbon brake boosters, Judy XC forks etc....it was awesome until some little scrote stole it from the boot of my car one night!

So if anyone sees a electric blue E4 on the trails knock the f*cker out cos I want it back! Lol

Posted on the Facebook page already but I'll bung these up here as well. I got into cycling via the Bike2Work scheme and bought a Pinarello FP1 roadie back in 2008. Entry level alloy framed Pinarello but still a cracking little bike. Stuck with the roadie side of things for a couple of years then a mate kept badgering me to try an MTB so I gave in and picked up a new Cube Acid H/T in 2010.

Don't get enough time to ride any of them nowadays after the nipper came along so I'm limited to grabbing the odd couple of hours now and again on my local trails and using the Pina to commute to work and back. Once the cycling bug bites it's easily as addictive as riding superbikes! Wink

When I used to do a bit me and my brother in law road to Skegness from Nottingham . Set off at five in the morning had eaten all our food then it started raining and we changed route the lorries were so close the drag was pulling us along . Got there at at three the idea was to ride along the sea front and have a play , nope straight to the station and home trouble was the train didn't stop at the station near home it took us to town so a four mile ride home knees knackered couldn't sit on the seat for the first 1/4mile never again
its twins for me !!!!

Roadie I've got specialised alley for a hack and general session on but along side her is my full carbon custom Ribble...which my missus steals off me !!!

My usual commute is a 36 mile round trip. Usually bimble along at about 17-20mph and it takes me around 50 mins - 1hr depending on the mood I'm in (and the wind Wink ).

Haven't done it since February though because of this bloody knee surgery but I am looking forward to starting again in a couple of weeks. Just in time for those crisp, frosty mornings in the dark at 05:00AM. Nothing beats that feeling first thing, cycling in to work in the silence with hardly a soul on the road - watching the sun slowly rise as you spin along the road feeling nice and toasty in winter cycling kit. Really sets you up for a good day at work I find.

Main ride is my 2014 Mondraker Foxy full suss. Mostly ride once a week at Surrey Hills (Holmbury, Leith, Pitch, Winterfold) or Swinley Trails in Bracknell.

Road ride is a pretty cheap Entry level Btwin Triban 3. Brilliant bike for the price and has done me well. Recently did a 100km for Kent Air Ambulance and have entered the 120km Velothon Wales next year.

My old bike is a hard tail Specialised Rockhopper from circa 2003, I bought it second hand 2012 and its seen me through a good season last year. Its now the Missus'.
