new shape rs125 speedo sensor fits the rsv and can be found for about a tenner which is a large saving on an rsv one.

Same goes for indicators which are the same on an rs250 as the gen1 rsv apart from the plug which is an easy swap. Some levers cross over as well.

The white plug is different on the Rs250 indicator but the body of the indicator is identical. I just swopped the loom off of my rsv indicator over onto the Rs250 one, took 5 mins.

It was a while ago but I think I paid £14 for the rs250 indicator complete.

I'd advise one person buying one and trying it out at high speeds before every sinks their £30.. they are cheap pattern parts and might not read a proper mph above a certain speed.

Fitted one to my gen 1 and its fine which is how I know they fit ok. The loom is a few inches shorter but still follows the route of the original ok. Reads fine up against a sat nav.

Arran.. what speed have you tested it up to.. cheaper sensors can start to fail reading at around 110 from my research.

I was jesting, anyway, get you with 3 steeds!
Not sure what I'd have as a second bike? Maybe a crosser/crossover type bike, used to run a TDR250 stroker that I loved with Stan Stevens tuning, I loved that bike ,,,,
