As you say probalby time (And he obviously thinks it is) but akso good to see that someone can hang around for the love of the sport even without the results. Many walk off in a sulk just because they cant get on the podium. Genuine guy I think. |

I never used to like him when he rode for honda but as soon as he left he was allowed to open his mouth and became funny and i became a fan plus he runs a great track school, would be mega to go and do that and be able to shoot sh*t.

I remember seeing him do a press conference at Donnington a few years back when he was high on a cocktail of painkillers and alcohol. Hilarious. His bike won a MotoGP but he never did.

Anyone who can interrupt a live tv broadcast with Susie Perry to ask whether she was wearing knickers has to be applauded

Amen to that! He is top bloke. He did have some cracking results early on (after the flaming aprilia) as number two to Rossi on the Yamaha I think it was. Also a proper family man. He should do the commentating instead of some of the choices at bit sport perhaps. |

I doubt any tv channel would give him a live mic,you just don't know what he's likely to come out with next.
I bet he'd be great company for a boozy evening after a good day's summer riding. His boot camps must be memorable, bikes ,guns, then drinks. |

He's one of the true gents of motorcycle racing and I reckon will me missed on the race circuit. He seems to keep plenty busy enough with his own (very successful) riding school. He had said a while back that he only kept on racing because he enjoyed it, and for no other reason. A guy with great attitude!

Edwards is a good rider but time to call it a day ridden most things and had success. Lot of rider around that should call it a day but they are still enjoying themselves so carry on. Edwards has made that decision fare play enjoy your retirement
