NOTHING TO DO WITH ME JUST FOUND IT ONLINE

Limited edition homologation special of the RSV superbike. I have owned since 2006 but use rarely hence the sale.

PFM Superbike brakes, 6 pot calipers running Bendix pads.
Brembo radial master cylinder
Quick action (about 1/8th turn) throttle
Renegade air-kit conversion and velocity stacks.
PC3 Powercommander (the SP specific model)
Barnett clutch
14t front sprocket
Gilles rearsets
OZ Forged Magnesium wheels (even lighter than the OZ cast Magnesium)
Ohlins all-round

This is the model with the Cosworth tuned engine, adjustable swinging arm position, adjustable engine in frame position, adjustable steering geometry. Price was over £22k new.

Will come with second set of genuine Aprilia Titanium pipes plus chip.

Lovely bike, huge presence, gorgeous sound.

Seeking offers.

Note: this bike would qualify for the ThundersportGB Golden Era Superbike class for pre 2000 Superbikes.

I thought it looked a bit suspect, and offers over £1?

If that was a genuine SP I would have thought a reserve of about £6/8 grand would be in order, plus a Renegade Filter on a Cossie motor?  Don't think so.

Yeah....something is wrong..... bodywork should be a 98-99 model

Mille SP cames with Brembo 5 spoke but made in magnesium instead of alloy. Also that Brembo is only for race use

But it seems to have gained an SP top yoke and different (early) front calipers?

Scratch that,they're PFM calipers

Looks more like someone crashed an SP and bolted some of the bits onto a newer bike.

I think Spoonz is right. Crashed SP with 02 bodywork to replace it. It's the wheels that make it interesting. Magnesium OZ? All I can think of is they were purchased as an option/upgrade as only RSV I know of to have those was a Gen 2 Nera, which the Gen 2 wheels don't easily fit the Gen 1 without fettling and spacers. Plus the Nera had red wheels and those blue ones don't appear painted or look too chipped etc. Did Aprilia offer these wheels as an option on any Gen 1?

Either way I would say it's history is interesting! Def an HPI check along with the usual frame dings etc. Check engine numbers too all the obvious stuff.

You can't disguise or confuse the cossie engine though which this claims to have.

Very strange Confused

If it were a repaired sp with newer body work, wouldn't it have the adjustable frame/swing arm.. unless it's had the frame replaced from donor bike, but that's the chassis and v5 therefore the bike is no longer an sp??

I had those Gilles rearsets, thought they were the dogs provided you lock tight everything. Garin has them now and still going strong.

Only negative is they don't go lower than oem which the AP ones do.
