Still in the process of painting right now.  Will have updated pictures soon...unfortunately  massive relationship problems have ensued and my mind has been elsewhere.  Hoopefully the laquer goes on tomorrow and then off to finish with her.  Should be a busy day!!!.  Wish me luck.

Cheers amtey.  Wheels are going to be satin black.  Decals, well for now, less is more.  I may add some little bits as we go down the line.

Outstanding job!  I would like to add that I would've painted the rear light cowl white.... ;)

Just sayin!

You know I was going too, but I saw a pic of one that had it white and it looked a little out of sorts.  So I went with a white inner red outer.

Hi chaps, thanks for your great comments.  A number of people have asked about private work and yes I do do it.  Pm me some details.  I will be working out some costs based on this one and will update soon as paint prices have gone up recently....doh.  Anyway, If I take a little while to respond please be patient, what with all this personal s**t going on, I'd like my mind a little clear before I start on any one elses.

cheers again.

Headlight plastic was more of a persistance thing.  You have to cut around the seal a few times.  Each time a little harder untill you touch plastic.  Im going to use good ol body sealer to secure it...no way that'll leak.

As for the finish, you ain't seen anything yet....thats straight from the gun, I haven't even flattened and polished it yet!!!!

Finished flatting and polishing tank today.  Fitted it and the passenger rear subframe then run her up to check she still lives.

Italian car in your life too( as you have stated ! ) ,you certainly do live on the wild side - electronics roulette lol

In all seriousness , how are alfa's these days regarding elec reliability ?

Slowly warming to your paint job, even if I didn't like the scheme I appreciate the job you have done , quality job ;-)
