Thought I would just repeat my post from another thread just so you had the info where you want it.

Rregarding the issues people have had with login/logout etc, whenever you have to change your nameservers from one host to another, it takes a couple of days for the info to propagate across the www, hence some peeps will come to the old host while othere will be ok  on the new one straight away.

I used to rent space out on my own server so have learned a few tricks on the way, I now administer my sons electrical and solar panel web sites and email server, just saying!

My issues with getting logged out seems to have resolved itself so maybe it was the chaneover. Also email alerts seem back to normal so all seems good for now. The only thing I do get is that when visiting some threads it takes me to the first post on that thread whereas with most it takes me to the last post I read (Which the old server did and I assume is how its supposed to work). A bit of a pain but not life or death! Maybe this will resolve itself too.

The setting is generic to all forum sections in terms of post order, the default is oldest first.

I have just tried all sections briefly with IE10, chrome and Firefox and couldn't duplicate the issue. It may be a browser issue on the individual pc so might be worth clearing your cookies etc.

If it appears wider spread then i will raise it with Web Wiz to check it out. If others are having this issue can they post here and also mention your browser type to see if there is a pattern.

Yes, thats how it shows, oldest first in the thread. What I meant but did not explain very well was that if I have read through the thread, then visit it again later I usually get taken to where I left off thereby immediately able to view any new posts. What is happening sometimes is that it takes me to the oldest post even when I have previously read the thread completely through. It's not all the time just occasionally.
