Hmmmm.. I've got the abba stand and front ratchet strap to pull the front up but I'm not entirely convinced!

How does everyone remove the folks etc safely without worry?

If you've already got the Abba, splash out a bit more on the front lift arm accessory, it's an awesome bit of kit, locks the back down solid as anything .

I've got the added extras but the ratchet system seems a bit dodgy?

Is it ok prolong the front end up with blocks under the engine?

I've tried the front lift approach with the abba kit but it didn't really work. Am I doing something wrong? 🤔

The front lift kit works a treat. Had the front end of mine for over a week and nothing moved.
If its not broken then fix it until it is

Did you buy the little shaft thing to hook the ratchet strap onto?

They do work a treat, just push the back end down, pull the strap tight and job jobbed, solid as anything. 🖒

No....mine never came with the shaft so I'm guessing that's what's missing. I'll have to source one.

Thanks for the help

I've got steel roof trusses in the garage and use an abba stand a 1 ton lifting strop around the frame where the air tubes go through.

I changed my forks with the Abba stand and front lift kit. If you bought the stand from Abba, or if it came complete then its perfect for the job.

As others have said, its rock solid and simple to use.

I just use the r@g swing arm bobbin on my bike to hook the strap around from the lift arm and it works perfect.

I binned the Abba strap, for a decent ratchet strap used with the Abba kit front/rear arms etc

Works much better. Totally solid when used, nothing to worry about at all Big smile
Question everything.
