Howdy all,

Seems when my tank is almost full there is a decent amount of fuel coming out of the filler cap under acceleration hits me in the nads. Not all that pleasant .

Links to be this red flange not making a good seal.

Any thoughts?

Keep 'er lit!!

I had the very same thing on my gen 2 mate...If I remember rightly the problem was to do with that flat black rubber seal and a ring of springs (or something like that) that should push it down to form a seal...I ended up with a new Harris keyless cap.

My Gen2 was the same. I found a link to someone who made a little washer to fit between the two rubber seals. Worked well
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left

I have made some gaskets for people in the past on the Site  -
High temp High Pressure -  petrochemical quality  NCAF  - much much better than using any old plastic tubs as you know that it will never be effected by the fuel.

PM me and I will get one in the post to you when I am next back in the UK  - Thumbs Up
