Hi Guys,

Currently I have a TRX850, my restriction ran out on the 31st and I'm looking to change. Always been a big fan of the Falco.

Use my bike all year round, and it will more than likely come to uni with me next year.

Thoughts?

Greg

I ran one for 3 full years including winters with no major problems at all and the finish was as good as new when i sold it. It had 36k miles on it and the engine was still as sweet and tight. Oil changed every 3k throughout its life.   A few nuts and bolts did corrode but once replaced with some nice stainless steel ones it lookled better than new. Not many about so you always get someone asking what is it ?? ITS more practical than the rsv Its a do it all bike , touring, scratching and trackdays. My only gripe was the price of genuine aprilia parts and when the Falco was thrashed it was rather thirsty; but then is every bike when thrashed. Mine had the Genuine Aprilia streetfighter carbon fibre cans which sounded absolutly awsum, louder and deeper than anything else on the road. If you see some THEN buy theM you wont regret it !! The fueling of your Falco may ned to be adjusted with the aid of a power commander. Mine was very snatchy, almost hickupping around town and would not do 30mph. At low revs it was too lean and at high revs it was too rich. The power commander sorted this out. On a rolling road with the cans and a kn air filter i had a genuine 120bhp at the rear wheel . MPG would range from 29 - 54 depending on where your wrist was.  Would i buy another Falco ??? You betcha i would. Jools
