Did you wipe it with a solvent after you fitted it? This can cause them to crack.

I have seen brake fluid cause a cracking effect before, it looks like thousands of little cracks, almost like crazy paving.
If this is what you have, check the seals on the brake and clutch cylinders are both air tight and fitted.
Also, check for what looks like sweating around those areas, as brake fluid will attract water and gives the impression of sweat beads.
Good luck and keep us updated.

Mine is a 2000 and I use mra and have never had a problem, my first was on for 13 years and I only changed it because of general wear and tare.

Hi Dave

I'm waiting on an Airblade screen coming for my bike so I'll let you know if I have the same problems.

Just out of interest which screen bolts are you using?

Hi I'm using black allen bolts with the rubber threaded screws that they screw into
They are a windshield fitting kit from demon tweeks

Stress cracks running horizontally in the material are not uncommon, 2 of my 3 bikes have them, they appear and dont get any worse (in my case).
