Daft question probably, but I seem to recall reading that these bikes are prone to clocks resetting if batteries are left to go flat?
As I'm looking to get a gen1 (rsvr ideally), and when im not using it over long periods I would have to remove the battery and keep it charged in the house as garage has no power. Could this regular removal of battery give me issues? I hope not 😕 |

I think it's just the gen2 that resets their clocks....my gen1 has its battery off all the time I am not using it (no power in garage) and it has never reset the mileage...... |

gen 1 dont suffer reset on clocks but will revert back to kph and zero trip if battery goes low and you try and start it and it aint got enough power also get a set of johnboys cables before you do other stuff these will ensure your bike stsrts and saves the sprag

Excellent, thanks for the reassurance it's not a Gen 1 issue.

Yep Gen2 suffers on certain bikes, Gen1 is pretty much Rock solid.
