Hi all you knowledgeable people, after a bit of information on these 2 fuel hoses.

AP8798003 is part of the original performance kit 01-03 but does it have any advantages over the standard fuel hose AP8120992 apart from quick disconnectors by the look of it.

TIA.

It's a high pressure version. The hose and the connectors will handle race spec fuel pressures.

Knew someone would know, cheers spoonz, so how do you achieve race spec pressures, is there another fuel pressure regulator, I seem to remember reading the ones fitted are 48psi, can this be increased for the 57mm throttles.

TIA

Yeah ive been investigating them, Evoluzione seemed to do the best one which fitted straight on or are there others that are similar. I would have also thought that one would have been supplied with the performance kit originally to make use of the fuel hose. I presume the regulator fitted to the 57mm throttle bodies was no different to any other and set at 48psi.

Cheers.

I think Evoluzione went belly up ages ago but I think Ken Zeller (owner of company) still hangs out on Af1 from time to time.

I imagine the race kit might have included modded injectors as well as I doubt the oem versions would handle anything much above the stock pressure for long. I think race engines can run something like 60psi but not sure you would need that for anything but high end competition motors.

Thanks Spoonz, yep looking at it the 01-02 had a throttle body kit which I presume modded the originals, the 03 just had a throttle body assembly which must be for the 57mm 's which I think ive got, just need to check its part number with mine.

Interesting stuff to know as I have her booked in for a dyno and see whats what, my system has the original carbon box and 57mm Gen1 Throttles that came with it just need to check numbers to make sure it is, so was looking at the kit online and noticed the fuel hose hence the question.

Thanks Lads.
