Ok, so I have a 1.9 cdti 150 2007 astra H with 95k on the clock.

The car has no power under 2k rpm and then a woosh, but no where near what I would consider as 150bhp. My Audi A3 is 140 and is much more powerful. The car has been re mapped (before I owned it) so this could be partly to blame as I don't know the quality of the map.

It's poor on fuel getting 29mpg and over fueling like crazy (I get better mpg out of the Ape )

I've covered all common faults.
This is what I've done so far or has been done before me owning it.

Egr has been blanked off and deleted.
Dreaded swirl flaps have been removed and replaced with the blanking plugs.
Boost sensor has been removed and cleaned.
Boost solenoid has been replaced.
Checked all turbo hoses, vacuum hoses ect for splits.

Can anyone suggest anything I may have forgotten before I shell out some hard earned cash to have a specialist diagnostics.

Thankyou.

Sounds like you've covered a few things, maybe sling a new fuel filter in it, then for what a proper diagnostic would cost I'd go for it, save you money in the long term rather than finding out eliminating through trial and error.

Done that one Ollie, I'm thinking it's going to be map related. I'll get it booked in.

My van had something similar. I just thought it was the way they were as it was like that when I purchased it. Went into the garage for an air con issue this week and he commented on the lack of low down power. When he had the bumper off to fix the air con issue he spotted a leaking intercooler seam (tiny bit of oil weeping from it) allowing boost pressure to escape. It wasn't until the Turbo spun right up that there was enough pressure to overcome that lost by the leak.

I haven't got it back yet but he said it's like a different van to drive now. Had I not fixed it he reckoned the turbo would have failed as a result.
