So remember all those months ago collecting parts for a street fighter build but decided my bike was a woodpecker and turned it into a nice pile of jigsaw pieces? Turns out I've been given some Compensation for my injuries. So street fighter in mind what gen 1 tuono do I buy

There's been a couple of nice Racings up for sale recently. Also, I know a guy with a 1060 and rolling chassis for sale. Not sure of price tho but good start to any potential project.

That'll be Des O'Connell - he does quite a bit of buying and selling of Mille's and other bikes. He bought it a few months back from a guy on Aprilia RSV Owners Club FB page.

1060? did you see what I managed with a 998 it'll be bye bye on a 1060
Don't think I'll go for a racing as I'll be chopping it up to street fighter it. Do they make a gen 1 r with all the good bits? |

Yeah there's definitely a plan hatching red. I've got a pile of parts that need fitting to a bike and a whole set of painted body work I need to find a home for. I'm not holding me breath yet tho it still all depends if I can get back on a bike.
Alright Adam healings going slow but we'll thanks. Hopefully it'll end one day |

You'll pay good money for a Gen 1 R compared to a normal Mille (non R model)
If you're chopping it for a street fighter type then go for either a basic Mille and add/take away bits as required or get a standard Tuono (although they seem to hold their value too) but seen on sell for £1400 recently in not too bad nick. Good luck with it and look forward to seeing the results of the plan.

Yeah I spose ya right. I got what's left of an rsvr so I got the shiney bits. Just hope the forks n front wheel ain't ruined. 1400 quid would be nice their closer to 6k here. Although I'm trying to find out if I can regrade mine from a spare I got in England ahem then that opens the door to much cheaper bikes

Jezzuz - 6 grand is serious money for a Gen 1 - maybe I'll take mine over and sell it The £1400 one the other day needed a few bits but nothing major so seemed to good a deal for the guy to pass on, don't blame him. If you have the shiny bits already then i would go for a cheapo Mille and take it from there. Pretty sure Rybes that any bits you find hard to source, someone on here would have it or something like it tucked away.
