Hi, I know this is a bit of a lame question but, I'm converting my 2011 Tuono track bike back to a road bike and am a bit lost on the function of the headlights.
So when I turn the bike on the small centre light is on, then when I start the bike the 2 outside lights come on (dipped beam?). What I dont seem to have is any high beam! (Or flasher) What should come on for high beam??
This is the only thing stopping me from getting an mot.
Cheerz peeps.

Hi
Tbf im a little lost. I assume you have the left hand switch gear fitted on the left clip on, with the headlamp high beam, flasher and horn function?

I assume you’ve checked the bulb itself?

Basically when you use high beam the low beam ones turn off and high beam comes on. Unless you flash then all come on.

I’d check the bulb first then the switch is operating via a multimeter to the bulb plug.

I assume by year this is a Gen2 Tuono so two lamps? The wiring loom goes under the air intake and can be damaged by rubbing so I’d inspect they also. Otherwise cover the lamps in black tape and get a ‘daytime’ mot 😂

Just checking here mate, are we talking about the same bike? Mine is the first of the V4 Tuono's so 1 small centre light and 2 larger lights, one to the left and one right.

Apologies I was thinking it was a late Gen2 model

I’d still do the same checks of bulb and current to the bulbs alongside a check of fuses for lamps to start with
