Thought I'd go for an early morning spin this morning before it got too warm.
After about an hour riding bike dropping a cylinder firstly intermittently then to the point where it was un-rideable.
So limped to a shop to get some spark plugs and limped to a back street garage and paid £20 to borrow some tools.
Replaced the plugs, still the bloody same.
Pulled over and called recovery, got fed up waiting and fired back up after 1hr10min. Managed to ride 40 miles home without fault.
Any ideas would be greatly received.

Almost certain it was dropping a cylinder because of sound. Also, friend riding behind could see RH pipe smoking on ignition.

If it's genuinely dropping a cylinder it can only really be plug, cap, plug lead, or coil as nothing else is really unique to 1 cylinder. U know it's not plugs so that's a start.

Maybe run through the injector loom in case it's that causing the issues

Cheers guys; I'll start the investigation once I've forgiven it.

Just wheeled back out after Saturday feeling determined to get to the bottom of the problem.
Done quick 30 mile blast with no issues at all.
All previous thoughts gone out the window.
