   Here is my RSV, bought from RSVR.net regular wigginsjp, bike is a real credit to him and its previous owners. Current mileage is 10499.
She has the following mods:

Akrapovic silencers - naturally
Renthal 43 tooth rear sprocket
DiD 525VX Gold Chain
Lust Racing 30mm lowering kit - I have short legs !
Spooky Washers for the rear linkage
Front Ram air vent from a Gen 2.2
Oberon Clutch slave cylinder 
Goodridge brake lines and titanium bleed bolts (still have the front ones to fit - winter project)
Titanium wheel axle nuts, front brake disc bolts, front caliper mounting bolts
Stainless rear caliper mounting bolts
Various fasteners replaced with stainless items (ongoing)
Uprated battery (TTZ14S) solenoid and JW starter cables
AP rearsets
AP airbox upgrade
Honda Fireblade sidestand
Radiator guards
Clear turn signal lenses

Current tyres are Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's (rear 190/55 profile)

	James knows how to build a bike and it's new owner has really done it justice.
	I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left

	Identical to mine, except I don't have Akro's as couldnt find a set in the right condition. The side stand looks the same too, but dont think mines got the mod. It's up on stands in the garage for storage, is it easy to tell by looking if its the Fireblade stand?

	The fireblade stand kicks out slightly, where as the oem one is straight.

	I think I can see that now, in the bottom pic above, it has a slight outward bend towards the top, right?

	Yes it looks like my fireblade stand, it’s a slight bend outwards at the spring.

	Since I took these pictures, I have had the stand shortened by about 25mm. I lowered the suspension slightly which made the bike sit more upright which I wasn't happy with. I had a mate cut the foot of the stand off, cut out 25mm, then weld the foot back on. Couple of coats of satin black epoxy paint and jobs a good 'un.

	Did lowering it change the handling much? Im on tip toes, both feet, as it is a taller bike. Oddly I dont remember my 2007, may have been 2008 one being as high or such a stretch forward to the bars. Dont think I've shrunk. But on the 04 Factory, it feels bigger. I've got a Monster 1100 Evo too, and thats a lump, but no issues with height.

	I didn't notice any difference, probably because 1) I'm no track day god and 2) I dropped the bike equally front and rear

	DIY……Lust Racing rear linkage....drops the rear by 30mm, then shorten the rear shock length slightly. I then raised the front forks in the yokes by a few rings (marked on the fork tops) so there is more fork showing above the yokes. Just be aware that you will also have to shorten the side stand otherwise the bike will sit too upright.
